What I Did:

Hi!

I have 3 children and this is what worked for me!

At age 16 I had 3 heavy periods a year; started taking the pill and felt much better! This was in 1983 and I did not know a thing. After getting married, I went to an extremely wise ob/gyn who told me to stop the pill and take clomid 50 mg daily, on days 5-9 of my cycle. I had twin girls after the first try...

When they were 3 I tried again- five years and 8 miscarriages later, I finally retried what the original doctor told me and was pregnant with twins again! I lost one at 13 weeks but delivered a healthy boy!

How I Did It:

The pill for a few months to shut you down then start clomid 50mg on day 5-9 and have fun the rest of the month and see....I tried parlodel, iui, clomid 100 mg for months on day 2-5, did not work for me....Everyone is different. A good doctor is what you need too.

Advice

  • Do not give up! Read everything and seek many different opinions!
  • Both my fraternal twin daughters at age 19 now have PCOS-
  • I hope things will be easier for them!
