How Clomid Works:
Induces ovulation by blocking estrogen receptors. This causes FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) and LH (Lutenizing Hormone) to be secreted by the pituitary gland in larger amounts, causing the growth of ovarian follicles.
Availability:
50mg tablets
Dosing:
50mg, 100mg or 150mg once per day
Side Effects:

  • breast discomfort
  • headache
  • fatigue
  • insomnia
  • vertigo
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • bloating
  • constipation
  • multiple ovulation leading to multiple pregnancies
  • blurred vision
  • double vision
  • floaters
  • hot flashes
