err hi im 13 years old and havejust bein
diagnosed with PCOS and everyone in my
familly is worried im going to be infertile
And i play alot of netball and im worried
i wontbe able to play any more any help
would be appriciated thanks

While you may have some trouble getting pregnant on your own, there are a lot of options to help you get pregnant (when you’re ready, of course!) There’s no reason to believe that you won’t be able to have children, you just may need a little help. As far as netball, keep it up! It’s a great way to get some exercise and have fun!

i was 26 when i found out i had PCOS i had already had one child which may have triggered it. i had to have help getting pregant with my secound by help i mean i went on a low carbs diet and took some metformin(which i think they no longer use as treatment its a differnt pill now) how ever i lost 2 stone and get pregant in 3 months. i gave birth to a healthy little boy a year later i stopped breast feeding went on a diet and started on the meds again as i was getting a few side affects that you have with pcos 2 months later i found out i was pregant (i was taking the pill) but because there were a lot of changes with my diet and pills for pcos that just for a few days it madfe the pill not work my hormons were to much for it to work and i now have a 3 month old little girl

I know it seams a very daunting thing to think of at the minuite but you are young you could try and cure your self by tring to cut out some carbs or if you do eat carbs to also eat protein with it your body cant take the carbs out of the mix with protein there for it wont be stored as fat and will be used to give you energy you are still young you have plenty of time to get your self sorted before you have children which i am sure you will be blessed with
