Definition: Difficulty in conceiving or becoming pregnant. Usually advisable to get treatment if a woman over 35 has been trying for 6 months, or a woman under 35 has been trying for over a year. Can be a result of either a male or female factor. In women, irregular periods due to not ovulating each month is the most common cause.
