Flutamide (Eulexin)

By

Updated June 10, 2012

How Flutamide Works:

Flutamide decreases a cell’s or tissue’s ability to bind androgens. This may decrease the symptoms of PCOS, specifically the excess hair growth associated with PCOS, though it has not been approved by the FDA for this use. Due to the risk of toxicity, this drug is not commonly used in the United States.
