In addition to the lifestyle changes you've made, your doctor will also likely recommend that your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose levels are screened regularly. I know it can be a pain to go to the doctor regularly (but really, it's only once a year!), but that small step can do a world of good. Isn't it worth it?
