There are a number of other tests that, when utilized correctly, can help reduce your risk for cancer and other health problems.  As you know, women with PCOS are more likely to develop conditions like heart disease and diabetes than other women.  In addition to the lifestyle changes you've made, your doctor will also likely recommend that your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose levels are screened regularly.  I know it can be a pain to go to the doctor regularly (but really, it's only once a year!), but that small step can do a world of good.  Isn't it worth it?
