Preparing for the Summer

It's supposed to be gorgeous in New York this weekend, which is a relief after all of the rain we've had.  But the good weather brings the concern that plagues all women, not just women with PCOS, about summertime: being ready for bathing suit season.

Fortunately it's still only early spring, so with a little planning, there's plenty of time.  I fully plan on taking advantage of the beautiful weather and going for a run, or maybe just a long walk.  The extra activity, coupled with a few dietary changes will go a long way towards getting in shape.  Cutting out sodas and other high sugar beverages is a great way to eliminate extra calories.
