Planning For the New Year

With the New Year's holiday quickly approaching, many of us are making New Years resolutions. Here are a few tips to keep yourself on track during the new year.

  • 1. Keep yourself accountable - write down your goals and post them somewhere where you'll see them frequently. Tell family and friends so you can enlist their help as well.

  • 2. Make it fun! Exercise with a friend, and mix it up frequently. Find new recipes to try out with your husband or kids. We're more likely to stick with something if we actually enjoy doing it.
  • 3. Build rewards into your plan. Buy some new clothes, go rent that movie you've been itching to see, or plan a trip to the spa. Give yourself something to look forward to after all your hard work.
